Introduction
My name is Benedict Marshall. I offer language training to corporate clients, with the aim of raising proficiency and confidence for communicating in English-speaking environments.
Challenge
For non-native English speaking professionals, there is a growing need for written and spoken communication skills to promote international collaboration, and to take full advantage of potential lucrative global business opportunities.
Solution
I provide bespoke English language training tailored to communicating with those in English-spoken environments.
Methodology
My training aims to help participants deal with a variety of real-life business situations.
This includes face-to-face and online communication, meetings, telephoning, and emailing.
I will check understanding of language use at the outset. In at the deep end!
I will introduce language of an appropriate formality and range. This will enable employees to effectively deal with a variety of real-life situations.
We will practice using role-plays, created around exacting client needs and feedback.
The aim is to raise overall confidence in dealing with real-life, practical scenarios.

Training
I have been offering Business English training to corporate clients, from one-to-one lessons to classes for up to 40, online and face-to-face since 2012.
I am pleased to offer English language training, focussing on business-use to single clients or small groups, and can travel to client offices if so required.

Presenting
During my years working for architectural practices, I have had ample opportunity to hone skills in presentation-making.
I am pleased to offer classes focusing on presentation making, including advice on presentation structure, vocabulary, grammar, body language and approach.

Grammar
Poorly-written English can often detract from otherwise clearly presented proposals. To avoid giving a bad impression, it is advised to proofread text prior to issue.
I am pleased to offer proofreading in English for clients wishing to present themselves clearly and professionally to potential customers from overseas.

My background might come as quite a surprise…
Architecture
In the UK, I studied Architecture and Urban Planning (at University College London and Oxford Brookes University respectively), going on to work at a number of practices including world renowned Foster and Partners.
Although I am no longer involved in the architectural realm, my teaching methodology involves the same rigour and attention to detail.
Corporate training
As a corporate trainer, I offer support to corporations in order to successfully achieve their training goals, primarily through the use of role-play, based on real-life scenarios.
I have gained knowledge training employees at a variety of Japanese companies since 2012 (having taught with 5 English-training providers), and can teach face-to-face or online, according to client needs.
I believe my bespoke training technique brings real-life situations to play.
My aim is to introduce specific vocabulary and appropriate language, and then, to thoroughly practice their use, in order to raise employee confidence.
I can also offer help in brushing up skills for giving presentations to clients.
